Cast: Leonardo Dicaprio, Ken Wantabe, Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Tom Berenger and Michael Caine.

Genre: sci-fi, Thriller.

Description: Is a dream within a dream possible? Is there some way that we can control our Dreams when we’re in them? When we wake up are we still dreaming? These questions are the kind of questions that this movie has you asking yourself after you see it. It’s a movie that makes the impossible seem possible, and the insanity of thinking that we can control our dreams seem logical in the most masterful way possible. Christopher Nolan created a truly mind blowing experience with Inception.

Favorite Scene: There’s so much going on in this film that pin pointing just one scene is almost impossible. I don’t want to spoil any good parts for anyone that still hasn’t seen it yet, so I’ll just say there’s plenty of scenes that made me say to myself “Holy Shit”.

Best Things: The way that they describe the different aspects of a dream was so descriptive and well thought out that it makes you question everything we know about dreaming. You feel like you leave the theater with a better knowledge of what exactly goes on in your mind when you fall asleep.

Extras: I haven’t been too much of an Ellen Page fan up until this point, but she really out did herself in this film, I was highly impressed with her character and her role in the film. Dicaprio obviously stole the show but Ellen Page was at the top of her game and will most likely win an award for this film as a Supporting Actress.

Overall: Dreaming is a cultural thing. We all dream. We all try to understand our dreams and feel as if their is a deeper meaning to it all. Why do we dream? What makes us wake up before we die? What makes it so hard to remember? More importantly, why is it even harder sometimes to forget? “Inception” answers all these questions.

Prenoms: long story short, This movie is going to clean up with awards. My Academy Award prediction is going to be: Dicaprio for best actor, and Ellen Page for Best Supporting Actress.

Score: a well earned 10 our of 10!

I won’t presume to promise you’re going to love “Inception,” but I can safely say your intelligence won’t be insulted. Within the rules set up by the filmmakers, the story is ingeniously plotted and well paced without ever seeming rushed. It’s the first time in several years I’ve heard an audience gasp at a movie. And for once I believed Leo DiCaprio was a grownup. Even with the two-and-a-half hour running time — it didn’t seem that long — there’s not much time for character development, and yet the actors do a great job. I was particularly impressed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I won’t tell you more about the plot, as I strongly suggest you go into it as ignorant of the content as possible. Just make sure you’re awake and ready to engage. This is one summer movie that insists you DON’T check your brains at the door. Thank you, Christopher Nolan, for giving us all a little credit!

Inception was one of the most confusing movies I’ve ever seen! I liked it, but through out the whole movie I just kept on saying, “WHAT THE HECK!?!?” I have to see it again, it was certainely unique!

Apart from the activity that keeps you on the edge of the seat, the romance and principle of dreams vs. simple fact fully create this motion picture. The acting in all aspects was immaculate. I obtained chills every time Marion Cotillard arrived on screen, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt transformed my opinion of him on this movie, he did astounding stunts (devoid of a double) and did an excellent job as Leo’s right-hand man. And as for Leo, nicely, have you ever observed a overall performance wherever he does badly? His sensible relationship with Mal in the video combined with his conniving tricks to obtain into people’s minds blew me away.

Di Caprios overall performance could be the very best. If you ever liked him in Shutter Island, he puts up one more good performance being a tortured soul right here. In your stop, the motion picture tries to near with meaning, which it does, but its for the price of endurance.
