Denise on Chinese People & Bandaids
Hi Cindi,
…have you ever noticed how sometimes, a whole bunch of the same stuff happens in one day?
Like, for example, one day you might notice everyone’s in your way or everyone’s being rude or you see a bunch of white dogs being walked by fat ladies or there’s a bunch of technical malfunctions happening or the day is filled with red-tape shit happening, or everyone’s smiling at you or there’s a bunch of sirens or construction every where you look ?

OK-so get this.
I was going to a government office today, I stopped along the way to grab a coffee. The Chinese lady serving me cut her finger while changing the cash register paper roll…and put on a band-aid. Then I sent into the subway. The ticket taker was Chinese and had a band-aid on his finger. I went to the government office for a meeting. The man had a band-aid on his finger. He was Chinese.On my way back to the subway, i almost slipped on the steps and this voice said-”Careful” and the person’s hand shot out and grabbed my arm and stopped my fall. I looked at the hand on my arm and it had a band-aid on it. Looked up at the person to say “thanks” and he was Chinese.
I went back home going south on the subway I sat in front of this Chinese lady…she was fiddling with her glove. She took her glove off and pulled out a band-aid!
Then I transfered to the train going west. The woman in front of e was not Chinese but she had a package on her lap ….which she was rustling through. She pulled out a box of band-aids.
Then this Chinese man sits across from me. NO band-aid. Then, he pulls a magazine out from his briefcase, opens it up and folds the magazine in half, holds it up and starts to read it… on the flip side, facing me… is an advertisement …
for BAND-AIDS!
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT does it all mean?!

Denise, Yes I have noticed trends like that. What does it mean? I guess you should buy stock in bandaids! lol

“Why is every Chinese person I meet today carrying a Band Aid?”
But translated to English,
Band Aid = Orchestra Aid!!!
