Viv Thomas’ Nick Spillum Interview by Jon
NICK SPILLUM INTERVIEW
by Jon of http://elexismonroe.thumblogger.com/
Here’s a behind the scenes interview with a man who works behind the scenes. He’s responsible for creating the spanking new Viv Thomas site.
1 How did you start to work for Viv Thomas? In Dec 2005 a photographer friend of mine showed me an article in a local magazine about this huge porn magnate who was moving over from London to live in the Algarve. He was South African as well and my mate asked me if I could get in touch with him and ask him if he needed a photographer, because “I was good with things like that”. I joined Viv’s forum, messaged him and set up a meeting with him and Avril. They offered me a job to look after the web site. I didn’t even know he was looking for someone and I pushed on about him needing a photographer. Eventually my mate did come and work for us, but didn’t stay long.
2 Is Nick Spillum your real name or is it another of the cheeky names that Viv’s crew so often has? Yes, it’s a pseudonym. Lewis and I were mucking around one day and I suggested Spillum which I found on Wikipedia. He thought it was a great name to use so I did.
3 What’s a typical day for the people who work on The First Floor in Portugal? It’s mostly preparing content for the sites, taking care of support, liaising with outside developers (and out internal development team), looking for new deals, and checking that our partners have the content they nee. Also we market our own web sites through the blog, forum, twitter and email.
4 Why did the site need to be redesigned and what was your rôle? The technology behind the old site was a little outdated and we wanted to increase the speed and Search Engine Optimization of the site. At the same time we decided a fresh look was necessary and redesigned the whole thing. My rôle? I designed the whole thing and one of our programmers, Daniel Buzzcock, coded it.
5 Which other adult industry sites do you like for their design and why? I really admire Femjoy, X-Art and maybe even Mr Skin due to their simplicity. Most of adult design is just too much and to this day many sites consist mainly of sliced up over the top images.
6 Can you tell us about I Dream of Jo and Club Pink Velvet?
I Dream of Jo is an idea I had some time ago and convinced Viv to go ahead with it. We had already had a few problems with Lesbians at Home and we were foreseeing a difficult time in running the site with Jo, but she has turned out to be utterly professional and really got stuck into it along with her photographer/videographer, Gergo.
Club Pink Velvet on the other hand is nothing new. It’s just all our lesbian content in one place and is built specifically for our affiliates and for those people who just can’t take a bit of cock with their porn
It’s all about lesbians lesbians and more lesbians!
7 Can you tell us something about the 3 new sites coming this year? The three new sites will be similar to Club Pink Velvet (which we are already redesigning based on affiliate feedback) and will be based on the solo girls, leg sex and boy girl genres.
8 The Story of She is Viv’s latest offering. Can you tell us something about it and it’s star? It’s a great story and actually came about last year when Viv’s wife Avril suggested a series about one girl called The Story of She. We’re continuing with the series this year as it had a great reception. People really warmed to the idea and Holmesy and I have already pitched an idea for The Story of She 2 to Viv. He seems to like it. What can I say about Lexi Lowe except that she is great fun to be with and extremely bubbly in front of the camera. We’re looking forward to working with her more in 2012.
9 What new films can we look forward to in the coming months? Well there are a lot of new ideas we’re working on as the new crew finds their feet and shifts into gear. The release schedule for the next few months is pretty full with a lot of our content that we shot in 2011 arriving on the shelves: Simply the Best (which is already out), Stockings and Lace, Hot Wet Lesbians (which is a great collection of water scenes), Wet and Dripping, Sex Games and Womans Touch – Breast Play which is looking really good. We’ll be shooting (if all goes according to plan) The Story of She 2, a film based on the beach and it may even have the models learning to surf, plus a whole bunch of spicy new ideas!
10 How would you define beauty using examples from the models that work for Viv? That’s a tough question as most people don’t really know the models and that’s when their true beauty shines through – when you’re talking to them. This is why I have always insisted we keep up the model interviews to show everyone what the models are really like. Sonia Red was one of my favourites because she was just so cute and spunky, as was Julia Crown. As far as classical beauty goes Eve Angel has grown into a beautiful woman, Sophie Moone is always amazing but see for yourself – just check out our models page http://www.vivthomas.com/models/1/content and choose your own. The great thing about our site is that we have over 750 models, so some must at least appeal to everyone.
11 The forum has also been redesigned. There are new threads including one for American performers. Can we expect more girls from the States to start working with Viv? We have no plans to go over to the States to shoot like we did in 2006 for “In the Family”. However, we are looking at getting one or two girls over from the US to work with us. It is always difficult to predict who we will hire as there are so many factors that can go wrong before a shoot.
12 What are the good and bad points of trying to keep a presence in the social media? Social Media is really time consuming and it’s slow, hard work to build up a following. We had a great thing going on Facebook and then unfortunately some people objected to our presence and even though we kept to their rules, we were kicked off. So that’s really frustrating but we still persist and we currently focus on our blog as the pillar of our social media presence.
13 Why is the company’s office now in Amsterdam and not London? Our web sites have been hosted in Amsterdam for some time, so it makes sense to have a offices there. Most of our work is done in Portugal though and we still maintain a studio in Budapest.
14 Who are the strong contenders for The Babe of the Year Award and why? I guess Jo is going to win again. She has always had a huge following on our site and it has only increased since she started I Dream of Jo. Sandra Shine has done a lot of work for us recently and she may also be in the running.
15 Golf and rugby are much loved by Viv and his team. Can we hope for a video on a sports theme in the near future? We would love to do a film based around golf and country clubs. There is a script floating around the office, let’s hope we can wrap it up this year!
16What porn do you like to watch? Honestly I don’t watch much porn at all. I’ll skim through some competitors work and obviously I watch as much of ours as I can, but I don’t have that much time to watch porn.
17 Where can people find Viv Thomas and his crew on the net? We’re all on www.vivthomas.com – Viv is on twitter @vivthomas I’m there @nickspillum and so is @holmesy_83
Super Sexy Male Director, Alex Allard, Exclusive Interview & HOT PIX!
Interview by JEM
It’s not often that male adult industry producers can pass as models, let alone one that decides to move to the United States from Europe. So, when the news started spreading about a European producer and director that opened a studio in the US and is expanding his adult video business and content distribution into America. It was time to track this guy down and see if he’d do an interview for LadieZNight. Beyond his great looks and Euro flair, Alex Allard, owner of Sun Island Studio is a well rounded visual artist. His stills photography and set design skills led him to work in the fashion publications in his native France. His career as a video photographer began when he was in his mid-twenties. He started out as a steady cam expert (probably because he has the shoulder and upper body strength to support those rigs!), which was in demand for covering live action subjects and events, including motor sports and independent documentaries on the wild life in Africa. Alex sat down for a Skype chat about what started him off in the adult industry and to share a little about his life, both professional and personal.
So Alex, how did you start get started in video in the first place?
I started my career as an artist when I was accepted to an art school when I was eight years old. My Father was an artist and he taught me technical drawing, how to use paint and brush and also some photography. It is not uncommon in Europe to have young people apprentice in their chosen field, and in my teenage years I was accepted to apprentice in studios that were specialists in fashion and design. I did still photography and set design, and started to learn video technique.
From there, I decided that I like video best, as it has the ability to show the movement that is a form of poetry not available in still photography, and much more close to how music has emotion behind only what you hear. With video, we see more than just image, we see the emotion and can experience the inner music of that person. Since I am also a , I mix the two for my finished video. I do many of my own soundtracks for video.
How did you get from fashion to motor sports and adult video?
It is not as strange as it sounds really, I appreciate the beauty in all things and I want to capture that on film or video, sometimes in music. I surround myself with those things that make me happy as an artist. Whether those things are monster trucks with big wheels and bright colors, the magnificent strength and beauty of wild animals, or nude models that pose for me to make hard core video, it is all beautiful to me!
And now I focus much of my personal production business on adult video. I have shot custom content for so many European content houses, that I decided to film it for myself as well. This way I have my own business asset that I can control better, instead of someone else always owning my work.
What are some of the content houses that you have worked for?
Unfortunately, I can not name many, cherie. Most do not want anyone to know that they do not produce their own content! I can say that I have produced close to 700 scenes for European houses all over the world. I have shot in Prague, Brazil, Spain, all over Europe and the scenes have been not only women, but also transgender models and now I am working on producing video of gay men. The two houses I can name are Scarlett Content and Adult Content NL, they list my custom scenes for them by my name, so I think I can say their name. If I can not, then I am probably in much trouble! [He has a cute laugh! L]
When did you decide that you would shoot TS models for adult scenes?
I see beauty everywhere, cherie. Beauty to me is natural feelings of confidence and sexuality in a person. It does not matter what is between their legs, it is what is in their heart. I am very much a man who loves women. However, if a person is free with their sexual appetite and they accept who they are and that beauty inside comes out to me when I work with them, I love to capture that in my video! It inspires me to make them even more beautiful through my work.
Alex, you are a really beautiful man yourself, why are you not on camera?
Now I am shy! I blush. It is not for me. I have had photos taken of me as a “model”, many of them are from working with the fashion publications. The photographers would say, “Alex, we need to do test shot, no model is here!” So I change into jeans or whatever they are featuring for the magazine and they take photos. I have fun with it. I get to be “bad boy” for a while. But, I prefer to be behind the camera and letting other people be their best for me. I am shy, really. I do not mind people seeing me, but I do not want to be it a career.
What is the one thing about your personality that makes you truly “Alex Allard”?
[Laughing] I am wolf! Inside I am like wolf. Not comedy wolf though, or predator man, real wolf. I think we are all too far from our natural being. It is not good. I have my dog, Pavote is a Pinscher, and we play like we are both same type of animal when we are at home. She makes me happy that she love me for who I am and I am learning to be like that with all people, as well as my Pavote. I am loyal and gentle with people that I care for, but when I need be strong and to take full control, I am ready.
You started building an American production studio in 2009, and why did that become important to you when you already have a successful business in France?
I spent a long time with friends in America since 2005, really. I had thought to move to Nevada first . . . Las Vegas or Henderson. That did not happen, as I was traveling a lot around the world making video. However, I fall in love with America in many ways. Half my heart is in US, and I need to follow that with my business now. I love the people of America, the freedom to do business that is not so common in Europe now.
Some of it is practical too. I like driving motorcycles and big trucks in open, natural space and I am enchanted by the American cowboy life, maybe my wolf coming out again . . . and I can do that much more easy in America, where there are spaces that I can explore. For now, I make my second home in Delaware because many of my technical people are there. It is good for my business. I am also looking to find some place in the American West to set up a studio and to see more of California, Arizona and other desert places.
A new year is starting soon, and what are your plans for yourself and Sun Island Studio?
I will start 2012 with attending the January Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas. I have not been before, and I wish to meet the American producers and distributors that I have never met in person. I want to do a booth at that show in 2013, when I have built up Sun Island Studio US over the next year. While I am there, I will see some shows and meet with some friends that live here.
For the rest, I have finally put together a team that can support my dreams for future productions and my business. I shoot different now than before, when doing primarily custom shoots that were to other people’s specifications. I like more artistic take on adult video, than the usual ugly sex. Much European porn is ugly to me. Much American porn is also ugly now. I like style of what you see and write music that fits with what you see, to show the beauty of the people in my film, not just ‘push, push’ with grunting. I am also thinking to doing more feature movies. I released ‘Nasty Hairdressers’ last year and it was first major feature that I did for Sun Island Studio label. I enjoyed the story and how it makes for better flow to the sex. I like to make sex movies that make sense to the person viewing. This is true, even if it is like music video style sex movie where the music tells the story of the reason why these people have sex!
Thank you for taking the time to chat Alex. Is there anything you’d like to add before we sign off?
Merci for speaking with me. I hope I do not bore the people reading this . . . . I am just regular guy who makes adult video. I do wish to see the readers of LadieZNight in Vegas at the Adult Expo! I am always inspired by meeting new people. I do not have booth this year, but I think they will know me when they see me, I sent photos for LadieZNight and I also have them at http://sunislandstudio.com.

Girl Friend Films- Exclusive- Girl/Girl Rocks! Part 2
Op/Ed by Jon of http://elexismonroe.thumblogger.com/
OUR REPUTATION SPEAKS FOR ITSELF
What makes Girlfriends Films the leader in the lesbian erotica niche ? Moose, vice president of the studio, gave some of the answers in an interview with France’s Hot Video online magazine.
He said that the company listens to its viewers. It takes note of what the fans are saying on their very lively forum. If they made their next 10 films similar to their last 10 they’d be certain to close down.

Girlfriends Films doesn’t hesitate to use older younger pairings and prefers performers who have a girl next door look. It’s the latter that makes the public believe they’re seeing real lesbian sex. The company takes care of the scripts. Once the sex has started they leave the girls to doing what they know how to do best. Other companies stop every 10 minutes or so to do photo shoots. In these conditions it’s impossible for the performers to have real orgasms.
Moose said that Girlfriends Films took the competition as a compliment. They can’t be as good as his company if all they do is imitate it’s style. The big studios tried to compete with Girlfriends Films and most have quickly given up. There are new companies now but they use the same performers and their films are similar to Girlfriends Films. The studio is always looking to the future and is constantly developing new projects to help it keep in the lead.
Girlfriends Films also differs in other ways. They’re very active in fighting illegal downloads. They’re also concerned about marketing and brand image. This is why they go to Venus Berlin each year with some performers. It’s the only company that does this for it’s European fans. Girlfriends Films gives regularly to charities.
It’s important for the public to know about the latest releases and studio news. Girlfriends Films is the leader in DVD sales although their price is quite high. The competition doesn’t hesitate to cut their prices but their films generally finish put away in a drawer. The company prefers to see it’s films on peoples shelves.
The sales in the girl girl niche unlike in the rest of the adult industry aren’t dropping. Moose is impressed by the figures for Girlfriends Films. The company is doing better than others because it only bringing out 6 titles per month. It’s not quantity that counts but quality and it’s for this reason that the studio doesn’t want to increase production.
One other reason for the rise in sales is that audience is different to most other companies. The studio makes films for women believing that men will follow their tastes. If men want their wives to watch hardcore all they are going to do is disgust them. It’s better to go slowly. Girlfriends Films are made for couples hence it would be easier for a man to show one to his wife.

Moose said that the company’s 2 contract girls, Prinzzess and India Summer, are exceptional and always do very good work. Girlfriends Films have made over 1,000 scenes and and film 32 new ones each month. It’s important to have a good relationship with the performers and respect them. This is why they adore working for the studio. The company’s reputation speaks for itself. It’s recommended by the performers as they’ve had a good time. There aren’t 15 people watching during a shoot. Girlfriends Films is more intimate.
Girl/Girl Films- Exclusive- Part 1
THOSE GIRLS WHO ONLY DO GIRLS
by Jon of http://elexismonroe.thumblogger.com/
The November edition of France’s Hot Video has an article about lesbian erotica. It focuses on the market for girl girl videos and why female performers chose to only do lesbian scenes.
Miles Long had an unexpected success with Girlfriends 3 in June. His studio,Third Degree Films, ran out of stock after a week. He was also able to pay for a European holiday for his wife. Despite this he believes that the market for all girls films like the market for porn in general has reduced in the last few years.
It seems though that the girl girl niche doesn’t have anything to complain about. AEBN, the world’s largest VOD service, often has lesbian films in it’s top 10 sales list. There have also been important companies in the adult industry such as Digital Playground and Elegant Angel that have recently created there own girl girl series.
Moose , Vice President of Girlfriends Films , believes that the company’s good sales figure are due to catering for the couples market that’s fed up with what’s produced by other studios. Miles Long also feels the same. You’re more likely to show lesbian films rather than hardcore to your girlfriend or wife. They’re more sensual and because the performers are often prettier women can easily identify with them.
If you look at model agency sites the prettiest models often only do solo or girl girl. There is though nothing new about this. Pretty performers have always had more offers of work hence the less pretty have had to be more extreme to to catch the eye of directors.
This though is starting to slowly change. There is now less work so new female performers are going straight to hardcore. Many also take Sasha Grey as their role model. Pay for girl girl scenes is also less than for the range of boy girl scenes. So why do some girls in the business now still stick to only doing girl girl?

Moose explained:
There are several reasons for this. They’re married or they have a boyfriend who will only let them do this. Sometimes they’re taking their first steps and wish to progress slowly rather than do gonzo immediately so they start by doing girl girl.
This is backed up by the girls themselves.
Melena Morgan said:
I’m monogamous, I don’t want to make love with any other man than my boyfriend. Waking up in the morning without knowing who’s going to put their dick in your pussy, no thank you!
Celeste Star who’s featured in a lesbian photo shoot for Hot Video with Melena has her own reasons:
Lots of girls choose lesbian scenes because it’s easier , that’s my case. I don’t see any problem. It’s better than doing something you don’t like,no? Personally I don’t like sucking dicks , it disgusts me. I won’t even do it with my boyfriend. So can you imagine me doing it with other men?
Celeste accepts that the price to pay is earning less money.

Prinzzess , Girlfriends Films contract performer , has had offers to do boy girl. She’d certainly gain a lot of money by doing this but doesn’t like the idea of of scenes where there is little or no foreplay. This doesn’t mean she’ll never do boy girl. Her one condition is that she gets to choose her partners.
Those girls who only do girls often started there careers doing a few boy girl scenes. Those girls who only do girls on screen in their private lives have a boys only rule or have flings with girls and steady relationships with boys. Finding a real bisexual is rare in the adult industry. Finding a real lesbian is like looking for a unicorn.
Exclusive Interview with the Now Sober, God-Fearing & Anal doing Tanner Mayes…
Pictures Courtesy of Hustler from the movie This Ain’t Dirty Jobs XXX
Interviews by Billy Watson of IShootPorn.com & Cindi Loftus Lukeisback.com & Xcitement.com
Tanner Mayes is an adorable little spinner who has no problem getting down and super dirty. She got into porn at eight-teen and was really popular both in gonzo and parody porn. After almost three years in the business she disappeared for awhile and the rumor-mill went wild. She’s back and she answers all the questions we asked, some silly, some very serious. There are two interviews here. One I did with Tanner and one done by an amazing interviewer I just found out about named Billy Watson. Enjoy them both!
Billy Watson from I Shoot Porn for Adult Fun: Um…so what’s new with Miss Tanner Mayes?
Tanner: Well, I feel great. I thought I was gonna quit porn and get married. I was with LA Direct, and slowly the work was slowing down. I was in Michigan for a little bit, observing that life…and engaged. I decided that place wasn’t for me. I just started shooting again with Porno Dan. I still might get married, but no Michigan. That’s for sure.
AF: So you’re sober.
T: Right. I’ve been sober six months. Three months. Five months. Feels like a long time. Forever. Not forever.
AF: Would you say sobriety is a struggle?
T: It definitely is. I drove around for a while before I got to your studio, just in circles, frightened. Nerves. I was really nervous. I wasn’t loaded. In the old days I used to party before a scene cause it made me feel good. I still smoke pot…I mean…I dunno how to explain it.
AF: Do you need drugs to do porn?
T: No. I don’t wanna party before I go do a scene. I don’t need it. I don’t wanna show up and look like the asshole. I want to continue in the adult biz, too.
AF: You showed up on time today. Sober. Ready to work.
T: Thanks.
AF: What was your drug of choice?
T: Crystal meth. And it’s still weed.
AF: My question’s always been, with what we all know about serious drugs, why does someone take that first hit?
T: I was actually out, shooting a scene, and after we’re all sitting there partying, and in the course of a porn career you run into those things. From there it’s just a matter of what you wanna do, and I’m always up for anything. “Hey, you wanna hit this?” and I said sure. I stayed up that whole night partying. GHB and speed. This was a director’s place, and we’re all hanging out and making money and having fun…but then it eventually spins out of control. Now I miss so much that drugs prevented me from having. I really feel one of the reasons I’m not a top girl is I prevented myself from letting it happen. I’m not trying to sound conceited, but drugs took me to my bottom. I was so paranoid.
AF: So no more YouTube vids of Tanner Mayes throwing a fit and being escorted out of the building?
T: Right! I’m a firm believer that I’m always right. (Starts to laugh.) No! I’m kidding. I was loaded on set that day, and you know what? I didn’t learn anything. Cause it just got worse. I was missing scenes and showing up late…if at all. That just wasn’t me. I was driven by fear. I’m afraid of rejection, and drugs are like a Superman cape.
AF: How long you been in the biz now?
T: 3 years. I’m 22. My first scene was for the Score Group. I think it was T & A Tryouts.
AF: What’s gonna happen for the rest of 2011?
T: Hopefully I’m working on a porno set. I love this business. Every day is different. I was so scared of it for a while. Can’t it be scary and intimidating?
AF: Absolutely. I could never be male talent. I could take that call from some director dude I’ve never met telling me to be on his set to fuck some girl I may or may not be attracted to and open up for camera during sex and go through stills and have to keep a boner the whole time. No way.
T: I know. It’s so much different than posing in front of a mirror or dancing in front of it. You know I put all these mirrors in my house and I lived in front of them. That’s crazy! It’s what drugs will do. I needed to know what I looked like. Super vain. Super crazy.
AF: What else are you working on?
T: PlanetTanner.com. There’s nothing there yet, but it’s a work in progress. I tweet, too.
AF: What’s your favorite fast food combo?
T: McDonald’s #2 no cheese ketchup only with a Diet Coke.
AF: Do you like your bacon chewy and not-too-well-done — or crAFy and crunchy?
T: Depends on who’s making it. I guess I like it kinda soggy.
AF: What movie can you watch over and over and never get tired of?
T: Easy A.
AF: What song can you listen to over and over and never get tired of?
T: Lupe Fiasco…um, what is it? [A few hours after she left, Tanner text'd me: "The song is called The Show Goes On".]
AF: I dunno Lupe Fiasco.
AF: Does size matter?
T: Only for looks.
AF: What panties do you wear in your private life?
T: Depends on what I’m wearing. If I’m wearing a dress then I wear little shorts. It also depends on where I’m going.
AF: I heard you have a thing for older men.
T: I do!
AF: I’m 47. Does that mean I’m in?
T: Perfect! I like ‘em floatin’ around 50.
AF: Would that be The Daddy Issue living inside your head?
T: I’ve resolved The Daddy Issue. Jesus Saves!
AF: Are you for real right now? Can we talk about this?
T: OK!
AF: When did you get saved?
T: A few months ago.
AF: How do you deal with the conflicting moral issue of your theology and being in porn? And would you go as far as to say you’re a Jesus Freak?
T: At first I thought I would have to be a Jesus Freak. That’s another reason I was out of porn. I thought I was gonna quit. That’s what initially started the binge drug use. How I felt internally about porn. I thought it was a bad thing. I was already sexually active, and I really needed money…so I got in. Then, after I got in, it was kinda like a current, in a way like a current is…you can’t control things…the fans, getting booked. I was young, too. And we’re all sinners. I love myself and I share and I give. It’s not all taking. Before, when I was on drugs, I was a taker. Now, I’m giving. I want to share my body with people who really appreciate it. Accept the love. I used to run from it. Now I embrace.
AF: So are we all gonna go to hell cause we’re in porn?
T: Not at all. Being saved means you’re going to Heaven.
AF: If you go into the bathroom and you blow my floatin’-around-50-year-old wee wee, we’re still good for Heaven?
T: Um…right. We have choices.
****************************************

Cindi Loftus for Adult Fun: Happy Birthday Tanner!
Tanner: Thank you. I turned 22 yesterday.
AF: Oh my god, you’re an old lady!
T: Sometimes I feel like that.
AF: You still look like you’re eighteen. Did you do anything fun?
T: I hung out with my mom, had dinner. A bunch of guys were trying to take us out. But I couldn’t go with mom.
AF: Everyone wants to know where you have been!
T: Good question. I missed a lot of shoots and I flaked on a lot of people. I think I scared a lot of people.
AF: Did you take a break and just decide you had enough and you wanted some time in Michigan?
T: Honestly I just started stopped showing up. I was nervous and emotional.
AF: It sounds like you were having anxiety attacks.
T: It was way worse than that. I didn’t want to go to work.
AF: Do you feel better now? Have you done a scene lately? I know you were supposed to shot a scene for Porno Dan.
T: I shot with Dan and it was much better. I had this attitude that was destructive and pretty messed up, the way I saw everything. It destroyed my sense of being. I was out here by myself and lived by myself. I feel like I lost my mind. Before a scene I would get so worried. There was too much pressure.
AF: Well Dan has been a friend of yours for a long time, so that was a good choice.
T: I thought it was a good way to start again.
AF: How do you feel since you were out of it for a while and now you are back, and have done a scene with Dan? It sounds like you lost your confidence Tanner.
T: Yeah I did. In a way it was like the Lady Gaga story. I didn’t realize Tanner Mayes was anything, because of how I lived. I led a destructive life and had a negative outlook on everything by the end of my career.
AF: Do you feel like you are back now to do porn for awhile? Or are you done and going to retire?
T: I’m hoping I am back. But I feel like I might have messed up what I had.
AF: I don’t think you did. You made some mistakes, people are very forgiving in porn. What about the rumor that you were retiring to get engaged?
T: My ex-boyfriend from high school came down and asked me to marry him and have a kid. I was hoping that was the way to go. Maybe another door opening. Then after awhile I remembered why we broke up in the first place. (laughs) I’m still not sure if I want to get engaged or not, but I know I like to shoot porn. I was just really irresponsible about it.
AF: Being a porn star isn’t the easy life it’s cracked up to be, but if you like it you can get booked. You are good at it. You are adorable and you have a lot of fans. How did you get started in porn?
T: Through MySpace. A recruiter for Girlz Inc contacted me through email and I was young and having sex. I saw no problem doing it. So I winged it.
AF: What does your mother think of your job?
T: I think she is happy with it by now. She knows I’m not walking the street and stuff.
AF: When was your first scene?
T: I was 18. It was April 2008.
AF: You’re 22 and have been in for three years. That’s a lot.
T: I think so too! I thought 2 years was a lot.
AF: How many movies have you done know?
T: I think like 150.
AF: Do you watch your own movies?
T: I do. I like to invite friends over, like a guy friend and watch em.
AF: That would lead to other things.
T: Definitely.
AF: What is your favorite scene and why?
T: My Teen Swallows. There were two guys, Chris Strokes and Joe Blow. It was hot. There was a lot of talking and acting. It was a fun shoot.
AF: What do you think about when you are having sex on film?
T: A bunch of things, showing off, coordinating the guy and the camera for the audience, watching the cameraman stroking his cock to turns me on.
AF: Who is the best lay you ever had in porn?
T: Manuel Ferrara, his cock is like an arm. I loved sucking it. It’s supernatural.
AF: What would your ideal guy be like?
T: He would be super-cocky and funny. I love cockiness, I think it’s hilarious.
AF: Have you ever met Will Ryder? (Laughs)
T: Yeah, exactly! The famous director of the year, Will Ryder. I love him.
AF: I love him too. Which of his movies have you been in?
T: Not the Brady’s.
AF: I think that was one of the first things I saw you in. How do you like acting?
T: I love it. I think it’s fun. I played Monica. She was Marcia’s friend in one movie and Jan’s friend in the other.
AF: A few of your fans had some questions for you. What would you tell a girl that wanted to get into the business? Would you tell her to stay away, or give her advice?
T: I’d give advice. I share my side of things and tell her how porn works.
AF: What are the best and the worst things about your job?
T: Best things are being open, meeting different people, having lots of sex all the time, sharing beauty ya know, sharing my body. The worst thing is evil.
AF: If you had to do it over again, would you still have done porn?
T: Definitely, definitely.
AF: I’m glad to hear that. I was thinking you were regretting your decision to be in the industry.
T: No, never. Not at all. I was in college taking business administration classes, and working at a law office, when I heard about the lifestyle in L.A.
AF: And you went for it! Good for you. Where do you see yourself in five years? Are you still going to be in porn?
T: Well I am back in school in Michigan, so right now I am going back and forth to LA to work. I have a couple of shoots set up with Porno Dan.
AF: I saw a couple of your movies recently from Hustler. Dirty Jobs was a cool parody. Evan Stone is funny in everything he does.
T: Yeah he was tossing me around. That was some hot sex! We were in a warehouse and he was showing me how to model.
AF: Did you ever see the TV show Dirty Jobs?
T: No.
AF: It’s about a guy who cleans sewers and kills rats and assorted Dirty Jobs, so I was hoping you were going to get all dirty in it. But as in REAL dirt, not dirty as in sexy.
T: I did a scene once in the mud. It was fun. It was gritty and exfoliating, ya know?
AF: Do you know what movie that was for?
T: It was with a married couple who do their own line…
AF: I know who you mean. I’ll go on twitter and describe it, someone will give me a link. I love twitter. (Isis Taylor tweeted me that answer. It’s Kelly Madison & her series Pornfidelity.)
T: I do too! It comes in handy.
AF: Yeah I use it to find what the latest incarnation of Tanner Mayes is. Tanner Mayonaise, Tanner Montannah, Tanner Amazing. Someone always knows what the newest name you are using is.
T: (laughs) I think I will keep Tannah Montana for awhile.

AF: Do you have an unfulfilled fantasy?
T: No. I’ve done so many things. I love to do new things. I’m scared to even talk about what I have done because I don’t want to lose fans. (Laughs)
AF: You won’t lose fans. You will gain fans. What is the craziest thing you have ever done? Where you thought, OMG I can’t believe I just fucked the whole football team, or whatever.
T: I actually texted ever guy in my phone and invited them to come over and have a gang bang, and they did. There were all different kinds of people. Porn people, a professional basketball player, guys from a club, guys I met at Olive Garden.
AF: That’s a great story!
T: It’s the best thing that has ever happened to me. It was the fun-est thing. I said we should all play musical cunts. I was the only girl, there were nine guys.
AF: Was there a camera?
T: No camera. I just wanted to practice.
AF: So you are in the room with nine guys and what happens?
T: First they started to arrive and knock at the door. I was nervous. When they started showing up I had butterflies, but as time went on it was more laid back. A lot of them had never done that before, civilians at a gangbang, ya know?
AF: Did you get ‘em in a circle and start blowing them?
T: Kind of. I blew ‘em and then I sat in the middle in this chair and we played musical cunts. So as four at a time walked around my chair… I have this thing I like to play the DJ at parties. So I started and stopped the music. When it stops three of you can stick your dick in a hole and the fourth guy is out. (cracks up)
AF: That’s a movie and it’s funny. Did you do anal? I didn’t think you did anal.
T: I tried to do DP but it just didn’t work. I don’t really do anal. I am trying right now. I do it for practice.
AF: Do you like doing anal?
T: Yes. I do. I’m glad that I like it. I never thought that I would. But I do. I did a bit of it with Porno Dan on a recent live show.
So it’s a yes to anal. Do you have a message for your fans?
Yeah, Thanks for being patient with the anal. I hope you like it!
Fascinating Interview With Porn Script Writer Jacky St James
Jacky St James Interview
Jacky has been highly praised for the script she wrote for Dear Abby. She’s a talented writer and a very sexy lady.
by Jon of http://elexismonroe.thumblogger.com/

1 Can you tell us something about your background?
I’ve been writing my whole life, mostly erotic fiction but also poetry, blogs, screenplays. I have a BA in Theatre with a concentration in Film and over 14 yrs. working in marketing and advertising. I pretty much followed the typical white suburban path: go to college, work in corporate America, sell your soul to the devil:)
2 What is it that attracted a good girl to watching porn? What were your first steps?
I am naturally a very curious person and crave knowing the unknown. The very first time I ever watched pornography was with my college sweetheart. I was 18 and he was 21. It was called Private 16 or something like that. We got it in the “over 18″ section of this local video store and I remember how giddy we both were at the idea of watching it together. Back then porn was not nearly as accessible as it is today (in the age of the internet)…so it wasn’t something that couples did on a regular basis. So we felt like we were really breaking new ground…and it was a positive experience all around.
Afterwards, my need to watch more porn became insatiable and wherever I could find it, I watched it. At the age of 23 I was watching porn regularly when my roommate subscribed to a porn channel and we had it playing on one of our TVs 24 hours a day. Now, I watch porn at least 5-6 times a week (if not more).
3 Who are your top 5 male performers and why?
Anthony Rosano – Anthony, to me, is porn gold and his biggest turn-on is his talent. I have yet to see another actor in the adult industry embrace so many diverse roles as convincingly as he has. He is the Al Pacino of the porn world. He is a true chameleon-playing roles as light-hearted and goofy as ‘Tony’ in the New Sensations “Who’s the Boss A XXX Parody” to his title role in Sitcum’s “Rocky.” You never know what you’re going to get with him…and there is a beauty in the unexpected. Also his likeable charm makes the viewer feel like he’s really attainable–and there’s no greater turn-on for a woman that thinking, “Hey, this could be my next boyfriend.”
Xander Corvus-Xander is also another force to be reckoned with because he knows how to act. The expressiveness evoked in his eyes alone gives me chills. There is an intensity, a passion, a thought behind them. He doesn’t have those stale, vacant eyes that you often find in Adult. His eyes breathe fire. He’s got that “it” factor. From leading man in romance films to strict gonzo stuff, he always delivers the goods. Also listening to his voice is like its own version of foreplay–sexiest voice in mainstream or porn–hands down. Jesus, I sound like his publicist and I’ve never even met the guy!
Seth Gamble-I like Seth’s stuff because he always seems really connected to the women he fucks (lots of eye contact, lots of touching, caressing) and I like that. Plus, Seth has a great “receiving oral” face–I love his sex face. Love love love it. I’ve watched Seth for a long time and was a fan back when he went by Dimitri Long during his career in Miami working for Bang Bros. He’s grown tremendously as a porn star–his 2011 AVN win for Best Male Newcomer came as no surprise to me.
Nick Manning-Nick is my go-to guy when I’m in a really freaky mood. I think Nick is fantastically funny and for some reason the extreme things (and often ridiculous things) he says in a lot of his gonzo scenes really gets me off. As a woman who enjoys a lot of sex talk during sex, Nick doesn’t disappoint. At times, he can be entirely cheesy. I can remember a gonzo scene he did, playing a guy who was sick in the hospital…and he ripped off his hospital gown and said, “Here. Suck on this thermometer” as he shoved his dick in this girl’s mouth. To me, it was priceless and hilarious and on some occasions – that stuff can get me off! Plus, Nick never holds back being vocal when he cums. FAR too many men in porn are too quiet during their orgasms. I want to hear every single dirty word and moan coming out of their mouth. Nick NEVER fails to deliver.
Bill Bailey-I’m a sucker for his accent. I’m not going to lie. Plus, Bill is my token “nice guy” of porn. He is so affectionate and caring during his blow jobs…and I like that it’s not just about the face fuck with him. He actually makes love to a girl’s mouth with his dick…and that’s art!
**Not to say I ever have problems with watching a nice face fuck, but Bill is my go-to guy when I’m in a softer mood and I like his essence. He’s a guy you could take home to momma:)
4 Who are your top 5 female performers and why?
This is a funny question for me because honestly, I really don’t pay as much attention to the women as I do the men. I like women that tend to be aggressive and take the lead. Women that don’t screech or whine or make fake sounds during sex:) I like chicks that really appear to be enjoying the sex they’re having and girls that love giving head (yes, oral sex is a theme with me).
Natasha Nice-Because I know Natasha personally, I can attest to just how awesome she is as a person and as a sex performer. I’ve enjoyed and gotten off to countless of Natasha’s girl/girl scenes. Some of her best stuff I’ve seen on KissMeGirl.com. I like that she is almost always the aggressor in the scenes I’ve seen. Natasha is also a big, pre-sex grinder and I’m not sure why…I love a girl that likes to grind. It’s incredibly sexy. And, the girl can deep throat like nobody’s business. I need to call her and see if she can give me some tips!
Julia Ann-she’s a legend. Enough said.
Avy Scott-she does some of the best lesbian scenes out there. I am not a huge fan of lesbian porn, but her scene with Samantha Ryan in New Sensations, “The Interns” was pretty insanely hot and I was left thinking, “I’d like a girl to do me like that.” She’s a man-handler…and I like to be man-handled.
Vanilla Deville-I first saw her in a scene with Seth Gamble and Montana Skye on Naughty America and she was exactly my kind of dirty. She’s a dirty talker and she gives a lot of direction to the men and women she fucks during the scene. I like a woman taking initiative and telling people exactly how she wants it. Plus, she gives a great blow job and the way she worships a cock leaves me wishing I had a cock!
Nina Hartley-because of who she is and what she’s done for the industry and feminism as a whole.
5 You say you watch porn every day are there films or scenes you like to come back to?
I watch porn every day. Sometimes I watch clips on sites (youjizz, boysfood, redtube, efuckt, amateurallure) and sometimes I watch scenes from my collection of films. Some go-tos I know off-hand are: 1) Allie Haze and Xander Corvus’ scene in New Sensations Romance Series, “Almost Heaven” 2). Xander and Brynn Tyler’s scene “Cumming to a Theatre Near You” for Brazzers 3). Seth Gamble and Nicole Grey’s scene Fuck ID is a favorite (mostly because of the scenario–for women that can be everything) 4). Bill Bailey and Diana Prince’s Seduced by a Milf scene for Naughty America.
I also have a few amateur videos bookmarked that I go back to time and time again. I like being a voyeur in someone else’s world.
6 What are your limits in porn viewing? What type of things won’t you watch and why?
I have no limits whatsoever (except child porn…but I am assuming that’s obvious). I like pushing the envelope of my own sexuality and sexual interests. Not everything does it for me, but I give absolutely everything a chance. If it’s out there, I’ll watch it. I like to think of it this way…if it’s out there…someone is getting off to it….and if someone is getting off to it, maybe I will too!
7 Do you find facials and cum swallowing a turn on ? Are we talking in my personal life or in film?:) In my porn viewing, I love the visual of a nice facial….provided that the actress receiving the load is actually turned on by it. There’s nothing worse than watching an adult actress cringe when the semen hits her face. Swallowing isn’t a huge turn-on for me in porn…because you can’t really see what happens. I think the only place I watch swallowing is on Amateur Allure because they make the girl show the load before she swallows and there’s something really beautiful about that to me:)

8 Are you more pop shots or cream pies? In my personal life or in porn?:) In porn, pop shots. Again, I prefer the visual of that. I love guys that can shoot really far and hard and…if he’s a loud cummer, that always makes it especially nice too. In my personal life, that’s a secret.
9 Are anal and DP something you like to watch? Yes. I do watch both. DP is not something I actively seek out and I usually watch it more for shock value than to make myself cum (although I have done that). I can’t remember the name of it, but I did see this one movie years and years ago, where this woman got DP from two guys wearing alien masks. For some reason, the anonymity and oddness of that, really got me off. As far as anal, for me, that’s rather standard porn anyways and yes, I get off watching it.
10 You like tribbing scenes. Do you watch a lot of girl girl? What do you like about this genre? I’ve never been a fan of watching lesbian porn because watching a girl receive oral sex isn’t really all that much of a turn-on for me. I prefer more of the lesbian foreplay (sucking on nipples and tongue kissing) than I do of the actual sex acts. This is why KissMeGirl.com is really great. There is a lot of aggressive and yummy foreplay. I like watching women trib because that’s something I’ve always longed to do in real life. Women rubbing their wetness over each other has got to feel pretty damn near incredible. It sure looks incredible.
11 What are some of the tricks you’ve learned from watching porn? I learned how to properly jack off a guy from watching Brazzers scenes. I never knew you should jack and twist at the same time. I also learned a lot about giving oral from porn. I used to just think (back when I was 20) that oral was just putting a penis in your mouth and hoping the guy came! I think porn is a great resource for people. Obviously EVERYONE’s body is different, but you can learn a lot of things and possibly integrate that into your own sex life from watching the right kind of porn. I’m still trying out things and learning, but I’m just a “Porn Star in Training” in my personal life. I am not sure I’ll ever achieve true porn star status in the bedroom–but I aspire to be!:)
12 Why did you start writing erotic stories and can any still be found on the net? I started writing erotic stories back when I was having an affair with a teaching assistant in college. It was taboo for us to even like one another, but the chemistry was undeniable. So, instead of actually giving into our temptation, we’d send each other emails about what we wanted to do to each other. He was incredibly explicit and it was from him that I learned how to express myself sexually in writing. A lot of people might not realize this…but words can be as big of a turn-on as action. Words can be the ultimate game of foreplay (probably why so many people sext). Once I realized how much I enjoyed the sweet, agonizing torture of writing out exactly what I wanted sexually and how turned on it made me, I then began writing fan fiction and putting stories online with characters from movies, etc. I had a really big fan following for a quite a while. I’ll look into posting some stuff on my site in the future.
13 Where did you get the idea of Dear Abby from? ”Dear Abby” is very loosely based on the relationship I have with my ex (sans the lingering feelings and sexual interest). Because he knows me as a friend and a lover, his insight and perspective is always very helpful whenever I’m having a problem or need advice. I’m also really fascinated by the energy and passion that surrounds exes. Some people are so damn volatile towards their exes, some are just batshit crazy towards them, others act as if they’ve never broken up, and of course some move on without a care in the world. All of these things are worth exploring from a writing perspective.
14 How did you learn to write a porn script? Was Dear Abby the first you’d written? When I decided to venture into writing my first feature-length porn script, I went directly to someone I thought would be able to provide me with the best insight possible–an actual porn director. I sought out the advice from Eddie Powell, whose work I found to be some of the most impressive in the biz, certainly in the romance genre. His stuff was so high quality — beautifully lit, shot, produced. I did not know him at the time and just found him on Twitter. You could say I “Twitter-stalked” him. He was kind enough to help me out, give me some pointers, and answer the billions of questions I had about everything from pre-production to post-production. Without his help, I don’t think my own career would be where it’s going today.
15 Can you tell us about Eddie Powell? He’s nothing I thought he’d be before I met him. Mind you, I had a lot of preconceived notions about the adult biz and assumed any male in the industry would likely be a sexist pig of a man, but he was one of the most respectful people I’ve met anywhere. Aside from the fact that he really took the time to study my script and ask me his own questions, he invited me to help out on set and to contribute some ideas to the overall process. His set feels like a really happy family and every actor (extra or lead) clearly had unquestionable amounts of respect for him. To me, he’s the perfect director to work with because of his knowledge, talent and humility. I respect quiet humility…and he is a shining example of that.
16 What was it like being on the set of a porn film? Were you allowed to stay for the sex scenes?
Having been an actress on several mainstream sets in both film and tv, the only real difference I noticed between mainstream and porn was the fact that in porn people are running around naked and fucking each other!:) Everything on the set of “Dear Abby” was professional….and everyone was there to work. It totally blew away every stereotype I had ever read about regarding porn sets. Nobody was on drugs, the crew weren’t a bunch of seedy lecherous guys there to get their rocks off, and the women were treated with the utmost respect. I did get to stay for two of the sex scenes (Natasha Nice and Giovanni Francesco’s and Michael Vegas and Zoe’s). Watching sex on a porn set is a lot less sexy than watching the final edit of that same scene. I think it’s hard to lose yourself in the moment when there’s a guys with cameras and a boom operator standing around. Maybe if they joined in on the fun it might have been more sexy–one giant, unexpected orgy. *I would like to add though, what surprised me most about the sex scenes was how absolutely wonderful and considerate the male performers were to their leading ladies-Michael Vegas was such a gentleman. Just a fantastic person all-around.
17 You’re in the process of writing another script. What have you learned from the Dear Abby experience that will help you make this one better? Do you write with performers in mind? I actually already have another film in pre-production right now and several other completed scripts that will likely get produced in the near future. I learned so much from the “Dear Abby” experience. I think what I learned most is to not limit myself for fear of production costs. I tend to be very aware of the final product when I write, instead of just allowing myself total freedom and then tweaking later. Yes, I always write with performers in mind….it helps to know their work and know if they’ll be able to pull off the part successfully. My go-to’s are always Xander and Anthony…although I have several scripts in mind with Dale Dabone, Misty Dawn, Kagney Linn Karter, Evan Stone, Seth Gamble, Jack Lawrence, Katie Jordin, and Richie.
18 You also want to direct. What would be your ideal story and who would be your ideal cast for your first film? I already have my ideal story in mind and when it happens, you’ll be the first to know. As far as the casting, I look at casting the same way I look at politics–may the best man win. I would never want to limit myself by pre-casting a role before I see if another actor or actress might bring something new, different, and wonderful to the role….ultimately making it better than I thought possible. Michael Vegas was not at all the character I had in mind for the role of Mark in “Dear Abby” when I originally wrote it…but now, I can confidently say that nobody could have done the part better than Michael Vegas. He just nailed his audition and brought his unique and funny personality to the role. So, I’m open to anyone with talent.
I would like to add though, I cannot wait for the opportunity to direct my first film. I have directed some smaller mainstream projects and feel that I would be great as an adult film director. Right now, most of the adult female directors started out working as adult actresses– and while I think that brings a fantastic element to adult films, I would bring something different and unique to what’s already out there. There is a huge, untapped market of everyday women that are not currently watching porn. I can reach the everyday woman, because I am the everyday woman. They can relate to me.
19 If you were to appear in front of the camera what type of scene would it be and which performer would you choose? I would never appear in front of camera unless it was in the privacy of my own home-never to be shared. My intimate relationships are sacred to me and I don’t want to invite the rest of the world into that. But if I had to be in a scene I’d pick Dana Dearmond to be my leading lady. I’d like to trib with her any day of the week.
20 Where can people find you on the net? JackyStJames.com and on Twitter @JackyStJames. Follow me:) I love people who pose questions on my website or just have something fascinating to share!
Exclusive Interview With AIP Christina
AIP Christina Interview by Jon of http://elexismonroe.thumblogger.com/
1 Can you tell us something about your background?
Well, I am 25 years old, originally from Tennessee, currently living in Michigan. I am also currently attending college to earn my second degree, the first one was in history and this one is for literature. I am bisexual but lean towards women and am currently in a committed relationship with my girlfriend Alison. We also have twin girls, which Alison carried.
2 What was the first porn you saw and what are your tastes in porn now?
There is an interesting story here. I was 16 at the time and I snuck into my older brother’s room. I can’t remember what I was actually going in there to get but while I was looking I found the Jenna Jameson movie, Flashpoint. So I took it into my room and watched it and returned it before he got home. As for my tastes, I still prefer watching plot driven porn as compared to gonzo or all sex titles.
3 How important is a story/plot to you?
It’s pretty important. What I like about a lot of plot driven movies is that the sex that is shown on screen actually has some kind of build up to it, instead of just going right into the sex. A lot of plot driven porn also has what I like to call “realistic sex”. Not realistic in that most people have sex like what you see on screen but that the scenario surrounding sex is realistic.
4 How did the AIP Daily come about?
Back in the summer of 2007 a friend on MySpace asked me if I would like to do reviews for this adult news site he was starting with another friend. I said sure and also suggested that I could do interviews as well. The site launched, at a different URL then it is now, in July or August of 2007. We were up for like a week or two before the guy that originally came to me with the idea, more or less bailed and that’s when I took over and I have been running it ever since.
5 You target the 18-30′s market. How do you think their tastes in porn differ from a more mature audience?
I wouldn’t say our target audience is 18-30 other than that they are the market that usually buys porn. As for their tastes, they are just like snowflakes, they are all different. Generally though, I would say that the guys tend to favor gonzo/all sex and females prefer plot driven movies.
6 How do you see the industry surviving the Cal/OSHA proposals?
Well, right now it isn’t a really big issue. Cal/OSHA seems to think that what they say is the law of the land. Now they are a government agency that is in charge of worker’s safety but that doesn’t mean that what they say goes. OSHA’s job is to enforce health and safety laws that are passed by state and federal lawmakers. Neither the US Congress or the California legislature ever passed a law requiring adult performers to wear condoms or use dental dams or any other device that help stop the spread of STD’s. Therefore, OSHA cannot enforce their beliefs in this matter. It would be like the police arresting someone for adultery because they think it’s wrong.
7 Why did you start exotic dancing and what have been some of the funny moments?
The main reason was to make money while I was in college. Stripping allowed me to go to class during the day and work nights and weekends. As far as funny moments go, I would say the funniest had to be when my high school principal and some other teachers ended up coming in one night. I gave two of them lap dances before they figured out who I was.
8 How did you choose the name Deviant Barmaid?
I got out of dancing full time a little bit before I graduated college the first time. I quit because of some issues over money with the owner of the club. So I got into bartending, which I still do. I figured with tips and everything I would make a pretty good living that way and I’ve been successful at it. So I chose the name Decadent Thoughts of a Deviant Barmaid for my blog because I am a deviant barmaid and have decadent thoughts.
9 Why did you start the erotic haiku project on your blog? You’ve written quite a few but can you tell us one or two of you favorites?
Well, I actually started the blog as a place to share my erotic haiku. I had started writing them months before and I just figured other people might like to read them as well. I personally think that the ones I posted soon after starting the blog are some of my best. The quality comes and goes and I think I’m on an uptick right now. I really don’t have favorites but if I had to pick one I would say it is:
Lying on the rug Head buried in soft pillow Afternoon delight
10 You’ve posted just a few stories of your naughty adventures with your partner Alison. Can we expect more and can you tell us some of your recent escapades?
Well I’m not going to talk about anything recently but I am sure I will post some more stories in the future.
11 How’s you sybian doing? Ela Darling has a handmade fucking machine, would you also like one?
The Sybian is still working great. It gets a lot of use around here and it was well worth the cost. I don’t know what Ela’s fucking machine is like so I don’t know if I would want one. The monkey rocker is something that would be fun though.
12 You post regularly on the Girlfriends Films forum. What is it that you like about this company and their forum?
Basically, I like that they aren’t trying to be really fancy. The girls in the movies look natural and the sex between them is sensual and still hot. A lot of other companies that do girl/girl stuff just don’t capture the real passion between the girls. One exception is the Club 59 label from Elegant Angel. They do high end girl/girl movies but the passion and intensity are very much there in pretty much every scene. I do have one problem with the forum and that is that there seems to be a lack of actual talk about Girlfriends Films titles. They are discussed but there seems to be a lot posters that would rather talk about stuff, that quite frankly, belongs on a different site.
13 The forum now has a lesbian questions section. Do you think women in general find it hard to express their feelings towards other women?
Absolutely not. Women, at least my friends, are very open about their sex lives. I know men talk about sex too but they seem to talk about “who” they had sex with and how hot it was compared to women who talk about who they had sex with and “what” they actually did and what did or did not work.
14 We have to ask the big question . Will you be following in Jen Doe’s footsteps and if so with which performer?
I’m not going to say no, because anything could happen, but at this time I am not planning on anything.
15 They say an exotic dancer should choose her name based on a model of luxury car. Pornstars however have to use the name of the street they grew up on and the name of their first pet. What would yours be? Suzy Taylor, if I went by that formula.
16 New York has recently voted for gay marriage. Would you like to get married there or will you wait until it’s approved in your state? I’ll have to wait because where I live, Michigan, doesn’t recognize gay marriage. So going through the ceremony and all that just to come back and not even have it recognized is pointless.
17 Do you intend to remain an observer of the adult industry or have you other plans?
Well I have started writing scripts and hope to start doing that more and more.
18 What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to watch movies and read. I also like outdoor stuff like hiking and kayaking.
19 What is it that you like and dislike about the social media?
Well the best thing is that it makes it a lot easier to network. It would be very hard for me to line up interviews and get to know other people in the business without sites like Facebook and Twitter. The flip side though is that it creates this obsessive nature of always needing to know what is going on those sites all the time. Sometimes people just need to unplug and step away.
20 Where can people find you on the net?
Well, I am the Editor-in-Chief of AIPdaily.com. My Deviant Barmaid blog can be found at deviantbarmaid.blogspot.com. I don’t have a personal Facebook but I do run the AIPdaily, just search AIP daily and you can find my personal Twitter @AIPChristina.

1 You were due to shoot with Magdalen earlier this year and then something happened. Can you tell us about it ? Actually, Fate was a real bitch in March when she dealt two blows which postponed our shoot until June. First, I was playing in a tennis match, and during a heated rally I ran out wide for a ball, lost my balance and fell hard… I tried to brake my fall by putting out my hand, but landed on part of my racquet, resulting in a fractured tip of the radius of my right wrist – and I’m right handed! Oh yeah – I was so screwed! I have fallen a few times like that before but never broke anything, and just my luck it would happen right before the shoot. Needless to say, I got it caste (in “GFF pink” of course, lol!) and though the cast should have gone up almost to my armpit, I asked the doc if I could just have it to the elbow. Since it wasn’t a bad break (just the tip was cracked), he agreed, as long as I kept it in my sling and didn’t use it – at all!
The second blow came on what would have been the day before our shoot on March 17th, when Magdalene learned of her father’s passing. She hadn’t seen him in over 7 years, so the news hit her extremely hard. She put on her brave face, dealt with a bunch of paperwork and red tape, and traveled to England to be with her family, and to attend the funeral and special medal ceremony honoring her father, who was a decorated soldier in the British Royal Marines.
No one plans for these things, they just happen. And it really sucks. A little time has passed now, and we are both still recovering, and are thrilled to have finally filmed our love scene.
2 That must have been terrible. How did you manage to pass the months that followed? Dealing with the cast and its limitations was brutal at first… I mean, all of a sudden there were many things we take for granted, that I couldn’t do – or do very well… I was forbidden to drive until an X-ray showed the bone being healed enough to drive on a need-to-only basis… My personal hygiene was a total pain – showering wasn’t too bad, but since I couldn’t brush my hair while blow-drying it, nor could I put it into a ponytail, I went around more often than not with a rat’s nest on my head. And putting makeup on with my left hand was a joke too, so most of the time I went without and that was scary – but not as scary as looking like some freakish clown-whore, lol! Ironing clothes, getting dressed and undressed, hell even going to the bathroom required a huge effort… But the biggest pain of all, was wanting Veuve Clicquot, and not being able to open the bottle… That SUCKED!! I had to get my neighbors to open it for me, and they always seemed to be gone when I wanted some… Go figure! Oh, and let’s not forget about cooking… It was awkward doing that too, and also led to dirty dishes that I couldn’t wash. So, the delivery guys and gals of Pizza Hut and Panda Garden became my new best friends… For a while I just sat around, eating take out and feeling sorry for myself. That last one resulted in about a 15 pound weight gain, which I left on for filming, mainly because I thought it would validate the fact that I am ONLY a fan and NOT a performer wanna-be like some forum members believed. On a lighter note, I hired my housekeeper to come over once a week during that time – and she really spoiled my ass… I just love her!
3 What has been the fans from Girlfriends Films reaction to your setback? Well both Magdalene and Dan were totally understanding about what happened, and very relieved when I told them I was still on for doing it as soon as my wrist was ready… When I relayed this news to the forum, I had tons of support and well wishes from the true fans. But there were a few in this particular “clique” who took the opportunity to be total dicks - one of whom ended up getting banned for his personal attacks and down right hateful behavior. Oh well, I say fuck ‘em! I won’t let a few bad apples ruin the whole bunch, as the rest of the forum ROCKS!
4 You were just a couple of weeks from the scene when the CalOsha
meeting took place. You must have been worried that you wouldn’t be able
to do it without barriers. What do you think about their proposals
especially relating to dental dams?
Oh yeah… That was pretty weird timing for that to happen, for sure! I have no doubt I wouldn’t have done the movie if I had to use a dental dam. I mean what’s the point? If I’m going to put my ass out there for the whole world to see, I sure as hell won’t do it if I can’t even put my mouth on the woman I’m doing it with! Seriously, CalOSHA, wtf?! Diseases can be transferred via saliva and kissing too, right? So what is CalOSHA going to do about that? Ban kissing altogether – from mainstream movies as well as porn? NOT! Just who the hell are these people anyway? The California Order of Self-righteous Holier-than-thou Assholes? Jeez!
5 You’ve been on a GFF set before but this was the first time you were there to have sex.How did it go? Well, I was actually very nervous at first – but not because I was going to be having sex on camera, but because I was with Magdalene, and this really is as much her film as it is mine. I didn’t want to lessen her magnificence or let her down in any way, shape or form… And because I don’t ad lib well, I put unnecessary pressure on myself not to have too many takes with the dialogue… But once the sex started, all of the nerves were gone, and honestly, I forgot anyone else was in the room with me other than Magdalene. It was really awesome! I can still feel her mouth on mine… Mmmmmmmm!
6 What differences did you most notice about sex on and off camera? Well, off camera, I don’t have any “worries”, meaning I have total confidence in myself and in my abilities to please a woman – even when that woman is Magdalene… However, on camera - I worried that if I positioned myself in a certain way, my ass would look even more ginormous… I worried that I would forget to move her hair if it fell in her face while she was going down on me… And I remember thinking things like “How long have I been doing this?”, and “Maybe it’s time to switch and do something else”… I know, it is silly stuff, but it all just ran through my mind on a continuous loop… And I think the biggest worry of all was “What if I can’t orgasm on camera?” I mean, I don’t fake them in real life at all… I have no problem saying that I’m too buzzed or too tired, or I’ll just make my partner cum first so she’ll be tired and won’t care, lol! Anyway, during our scene, as the biggest orgasm I think I’ve ever had was building up inside me, that worry disappeared without a trace, taking the rest of the worries with it…
7 Would you know like to do more or are you sticking to this being a one
off ?
Nope… It’s definitely a one-time thing for me… I’d love to continue to write stories/scripts for future films or series, but other than that, I’m perfectly happy with the career I’ve got
8 How did your week with Magdalene go? It was AMAZING! Of course she has her own life, which I didn’t expect her to give up just because I was there, though we did get to spend a lot of time together… Hours and hours on set, going out for lunches and dinners (mostly dinners because we didn’t get up until late afternoon, lol!), and enjoying our favorite Veuve Clicquot while having long chats about pretty much everything… We even went out for an hour long helicopter ride over LA and the coastline, had dinner at this great Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills she knew about, went out dancing at this really fun gay bar called “The Abbey”, and then went back to the hotel and, um…. you know ;-) That week was the best week ever! I would just like to add that besides having the incredible honor of being intimate with her, it’s an even bigger honor to be her friend. I’m truly a better person because I have her in my life… Magdalene St. Michaels ROCKS my world!
Ela Darling Speaks Out- Cal/OSHA, AIM, Employment Status more…
Ela Darling Interview
by Jon of http://elexismonroe.thumblogger.com/
1. You’re a new performer in the industry. What made you decide to get involved in this battle?
I’m new to the adult industry, but I hope to remain here for a very long time. The Cal/OSHA proposals made by the Aids Healthcare Foundation would vastly change the way the adult industry functions to the detriment of performer safety. For the sake of my own safety and the safety of my adult film contemporaries, I want to do anything I can to fight against these regulations.
2. How do you feel about the way AIM was closed?
I see a lot of disagreement online about what caused AIM to close, with some pointing the finger at AHF and some blaming the pornwikileaks fiasco. I was genuinely shocked to see AIM fall the way it did. I kept waiting for them to re-open and shake off these AHF ne’er-do-wells for good, and when they never did, it finally hit me what we’re up against.
3. What do you think about the AHF and Shelley Lubben?
I think the AHF is misguided at best. I think that some of the people at AHF genuinely think that what they’re doing is for the benefit of the adult industry and that the dissenters will eventually realize that we were wrong to fight them all along. My optimism about their good intentions aside, I wish they could see that their proposals would only regulate our industry out of existence.
Regarding Ms. Lubben, I have sympathy for her for any negative experiences she had during her brief stint in the adult film industry, but I find that a lot of her claims range from questionable to patently false. She’s more outspoken than she is informed and I urge anyone to think twice and do more research before supporting her or her organization The Pink Cross. She is the last person I want speaking on behalf of me or my industry.
What were some of the high and low points of the 7th June CalOsha meeting?
The highest points for me were the impassioned voices of performers speaking eloquently and intelligently about our work and industry. I was actually very pleased to read the new altered proposal which allows for oral sex without a barrier if both performers are vaccinated against HPV, HPA, and HPB and have been tested within the past two weeks. Before the meeting I had only seen the original 17 page proposal that included barrier protection for any sex act as well as all sorts of superfluous guidelines regarding laundry and sharps.
The low points were when the board reached the end of their patience and lectured the attending performers, insisting that we were there to discuss the agenda, not discuss whether performers should be considered independent contractors or compare the health risks of the adult film industry to risks taken by professionals in the stunt industry or by ultimate fighters.
Why is it so important to distinguish between being an employee and an independent contractor?
As an independent contractor, Cal/OSHA regulations don’t apply and I could operate according to the existing safety and testing standards that have proven safe and successful for the past 14 years.
On the other hand, as an employee, I cannot ask that my costars maintain the currently accepted standard of getting tested for HIV, Chlamydia, and Gonorrhea every thirty days, because it would be considered workplace discrimination.
Consider this scenario:
I show up to set and discover that I have been cast to work with someone who is HIV+. I tell the producer that I don’t feel comfortable having sex with the person for the scene because if the condom breaks, I run the risk of being infected with HIV for the rest of my life. Cal/OSHA regulations dictate that I be replaced by a different performer and the scene be shot with the new performer and the HIV+ performer. It would be discrimination to replace the person who is HIV+ in that instance.
In any other workplace, where the job is something OTHER than having sex with people, these rules make perfect sense and are important for protecting citizens from workplace safety hazards and discrimination. But when it comes to porn, it’s genuinely more dangerous for everyone to follow those same rules.
Are the proposals for you an infringement of personal liberty?
The proposals are absolutely an infringement of personal liberty in the name of “protecting” citizens from their own freedoms. The fact that Cal/OSHA board members claimed at the meeting that they were only trying to look out for the safety and well being of performers (by taking away our best means of protecting ourselves, imposing irrelevant rules and mandates, and regulating our whole industry out of existence?) is frankly just patronizing.
Should performers create a union?
I think the idea of creating an adult performer union is certainly worth pursuing. We have a lot of great minds in the industry and I think we could create something that could go far. I would be especially interested to see a performer’s union that champions performer privacy and safety.
What can people do now?
Write to your legislator and ask for a variance in the Cal/OSHA regulations for Adult Entertainment!
